- E – code in the classification of air waybill rates, denoting rotational rates (e.g. a sudden increase in volume may be associated with a change in price level)
- EAN – European Article Number – is the European Commodity Code, used to denote units of goods, especially retail products
- EAT – food
- EBS – ang. Emergency Bunker Surcharge – a special surcharge used to eliminate fluctuations in fuel prices, each time the decision on its calculation is made by the shipowner carrying out the transport
- EORI – the number assigned to each entrepreneur and, where applicable, other persons, is used for the purpose of identifying these persons in contacts with customs authorities throughout the European Union
- EDI – electronic data exchange
- EFTA – European Free Trade Association
- ePOD – electronic Delivery Note
- ETA – estimated time of arrival – the estimated time the goods arrived at their destination
- EWB – Express Waybill waybill in intermodal transport
- ETD – estimated time of departure – estimated time of departure of a ship from port, abbreviation used in maritime transport
- ERS – Equipment Imbalance Surcharge – a special surcharge to compensate for shipowner’s losses due to unbalanced container availability
