Logistic dictionary online – letter C

  • CAF / Currency Adjustment Factor – valorization additive caused by a change in the exchange rate
  • total time of delivery / delivery lead time – time from the moment of order confirmation to the moment of delivery of the subject of the order
  • distribution center / distribution center – a unit dealing with storage of goods owned by suppliers and their distribution to recipients
  • picking center / cross-docking center – a distribution center in which goods are stored and picking is carried out
  • assembly and assembly center / oder picking center – a place where parts and subassemblies from various suppliers are stored and assembly of finished products according to the specific needs of customers
  • logistics center / logistics center – a facility where logistics services related to the receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of goods as well as accompanying services are carried out
